Genuine MAN gearbox mount for the D2868 LE433. The gearbox mount works alongside the engine mounts to hold the drive train in alignment with the shaft, and it carries a different load — thrust from the propeller as well as weight and torque reaction. That makes it a component whose deterioration shows up as alignment drift rather than as an obvious failure. Where engine mounts are being renewed, the gearbox mount belongs in the same job, since replacing only part of a set leaves the drive line sitting unevenly and makes the alignment that follows meaningless.
