About this part

Genuine MAN exhaust rocker shaft for the D2842 LE443 and D2848 LE422, 332 grams, and also the part now supplied against the superseded rocker bearing box assembly 51.04202-6098. A shaft wears where the rockers turn on it, and the wear is not even: the positions carrying the most load wear first. Measure at each rocker position rather than at one, and mark the shaft's orientation before removing it. That mark matters: a shaft refitted end-for-end puts the worn positions under the least-loaded rockers.
