About this part

Genuine MAN three-groove valve cotter for the D2862 LE463, D2862 LE422, D2842 LE443 and D2868 LE433. Three grooves spread the spring load across three lands on the stem instead of one, which suits the higher valve accelerations of these engines. At one gram apiece these are the lightest items in this section, and they are correspondingly easy to lose into an open engine. Cover the cylinder head's oil drain passages before starting work on the springs.

Supplied new, in the manufacturer’s packaging, with our warranty of up to 24 months.
