Genuine MAN raw water pump for the D0826 LE200 and LE400, part of MAN's smaller-displacement D08 family used in lighter craft. On smaller engines the raw water pump is often the component that decides how long the engine survives a moment of inattention, because cooling margin is narrower than on a large block and the temperature rise after a cooling failure is correspondingly faster. That argues for treating impeller replacement as calendar-based rather than symptom-based. Most operators change the impeller once a season regardless of condition, which catches ordinary wear before a vane breaks and costs a fraction of what an overheat costs in a small engine bay. On a small engine the whole job is an hour with basic tools, which is rarely true of anything else that prevents an overheat.
