Genuine MAN engine support for the left side at the opposite end from the flywheel on the D2866 E. Supports are handed and position-specific — left and right, front and rear differ in height and geometry because the engine does not sit symmetrically on its beds and the mounting points are not at the same heights. That makes ordering by position as important as ordering by engine, and it makes noting which support came from where a useful discipline during removal. A support fitted in the wrong position will usually bolt up and will leave the engine sitting at an angle that alignment cannot correct. Photographing each support in place before removal is the simplest insurance against reassembling them in the wrong positions.
