Genuine MAN V-belt guard for the D2866 E. When a guard is refitted after belt work, check it does not foul the belt anywhere through its travel, including at maximum tensioner movement. A guard touching a belt wears through it quietly and produces a belt failure that nobody attributes to the guard — and the rubbing mark on the inside of the guard is the evidence, visible only when it is off again.
