Genuine MAN hexagon screw, M6 x 28 mm, class 8.8, zinc-plated to ISO 4042 A2C. Zinc plating protects by sacrificing itself before the steel beneath, which is why a plated screw that has lost its coating at the head is already further through its life than it looks. In an engine room, that happens faster than anywhere else on a vessel.
