About this part

Genuine MAN oil temperature gauge for the D2862 LE463 and D2848 LE422, reading 50 to 150 degrees Celsius. Oil temperature is the reading most often absent from a marine panel and the most useful one after coolant: oil that runs persistently hot thins beyond its rating and oxidises faster, which shortens both its life and the bearings' life. A rising oil temperature with normal coolant temperature points at the oil cooler.
