Genuine MAN part for the D2866 LE401, 287 grams and 125 mm long — the largest of the components in this series and the only one listed for the in-line six. Where a fitting like this is removed, blank the connections it leaves open immediately. An open air connection on a running engine admits unfiltered air, and on a stopped one it admits whatever is in the engine room. A blanking plug or a piece of tape costs nothing and prevents an expensive discovery later.
