About this part

A cover for the water-cooled exhaust manifold. It separates cooling water from exhaust gas, and where it corrodes through, water enters the exhaust and drains into a cylinder when the engine stops. Water standing in a cylinder makes the next start a hydraulic lock. Renew the gasket and the fasteners together on any water-jacket joint.

Supplied new, in the manufacturer’s packaging, with our warranty of up to 24 months.
