Genuine MAN two-groove V-belt pulley for the D2862 LE422. Groove wear is what ends a pulley's life, and it is measured rather than eyeballed: as the sides wear, the belt sits deeper until it touches the bottom of the groove, at which point it drives on its base instead of its flanks and slips under load. A belt sitting flush with or below the pulley rim is reporting a worn pulley.
