Genuine MAN V-belt pulley with timing scale for the D2842 LE443. Where a pulley carries timing marks, its angular position on the crankshaft is fixed by a key or a dowel, and fitting it a tooth or a position out makes every timing measurement wrong while the engine still runs. Confirm the mark aligns with the fixed pointer at top dead centre before relying on it for anything. Mark the relationship between pulley and shaft before removal, so that the original position can be reproduced without relying on the key alone.
