About this part
This nipple has a 28 mm barb and a G1 thread, in CuZn40Pb2 brass. G1 is a BSP parallel thread to ISO 228 and measures about 33 mm across, not 25.4 — the inch figure is a nominal bore inherited from pipe sizing, and treating it as a diameter is a common way to order the wrong fitting.
