Genuine MAN coolant expansion tank for the D2866 LE401, 16.9 kg and 800 x 360 mm, superseded by 51.06102-6116. Expansion tanks corrode from the inside where coolant has been left beyond its service life, and from the outside in a salt-laden engine room. The internal route is the one that matters: corrosion products from a failing tank circulate through the whole system and end up in the heat exchanger. Flush the system properly when a tank is renewed, rather than filling the new one over old coolant.
