Here MAN pairs a 22 mm barb with an M24 x 1.5 thread, in steel. M24 and M26 fine threads look alike on the bench and will not start in each other's ports. Where several nipples come off one component, keeping them with their hoses saves sorting them by thread gauge afterwards.
