Intercoolers as complete units, from about 41 kg to 76 kg depending on the engine, alongside the separately sold radiator cores, flanged covers, covers, intercooler seals, a housing, a spacer ring and an air guide plate, plus the screws, studs and dowel pin that locate the covers.
Three levels are on offer: the intercooler, the intercooler assembly and the core alone. A leaking or blocked core can often be changed while the housing and covers stay, which is cheaper than a complete unit; new seals are needed for every cover that comes off. Screws are 8.8 and 10.9 grades with different coatings, and the grade in the title is the one to keep.
