About this part

Another oil-pipework bracket, from the same 05740 series. A bracket on an oil line is there to stop the pipe resonating, since a rigid pipe held only at its ends vibrates at a frequency the engine will eventually find. Removing a bracket to ease access is a change to the pipe's behaviour, not a neutral step.
