About this part

Genuine MAN exhaust valve for the D2866 LE401. MAN no longer supplies this as a single item and lists two separate numbers in its place, which is worth establishing before an order goes in against the old reference. Exhaust valves run hotter than anything else in the head by a wide margin, and they lose that heat mainly through the seat face during the brief part of each cycle they spend closed. A worn seat, a tight clearance or heavy carbon all shorten that contact and leave the valve hotter every cycle.

Supplied new, in the manufacturer’s packaging, with our warranty of up to 24 months.
