Genuine MAN intake valve guide for the D2866 LE401 at 18.25 mm, the first repair stage, matched to a head bore machined out by 0.25 mm. Repair stages are recorded per guide and not per head: one cylinder head can carry standard guides in some positions and oversize in others, depending on what each bore needed the last time it was apart. Where a head's history is unknown, measuring every bore takes less time than discovering the mismatch with a guide half pressed home.
