Genuine MAN-supplied Loctite 574 in a 50 ml bottle, for the D2866 LE401 and D2840 LE301. This is a flange sealant rather than a threadlocker, intended to seal rigid metal faces where a gasket is not used. The distinction matters at the bench: applying a threadlocking grade to a flange, or a flange sealant to a fastener, produces a joint that behaves unexpectedly in both directions. Read the number rather than the colour of the bottle, and where a parts list names a grade, treat it as a specification.
