Genuine MAN coolant pump repair kit for the D2866 LE401, supplied as nine individual components: an axial face seal, three coolant pump seals, two O-rings, a hub, a support and a circlip. The axial face seal is the part that defines the job — two lapped faces pressed together by a spring, running on the thinnest possible film of coolant. Note the two O-rings are in different rubbers, EPDM and FKM, because the joints they sit on see different fluids and temperatures.
