Genuine MAN fuel filter for the D2866 LE401. After any filter change the system has to be bled properly, and the commonest cause of an engine that will not restart afterwards is air, and nothing mechanical. Follow the bleeding sequence for the engine; cranking until it clears is hard on everything involved. Where an engine has repeatedly been difficult to bleed, a leak on the suction side is drawing air back in, and that leak is worth finding, not working around at every service.
