Genuine MAN exhaust manifold seal for the D2866 LE401 and D2840 LE301. Where an engine has been running with a blowing manifold joint for some time, the surrounding components deserve a look: escaping exhaust gas is hot and directed, and it will have been playing on whatever is next to it — a wiring loom, a fuel line, a hose. Damage found there is a consequence of the leak rather than a separate fault, and it is easily missed once the joint itself has been cured.
