About this part

Genuine MAN intake valve for the D2866 LE401. MAN now supplies 51.04101-0478 in its place, so an order raised against this reference is filled with the later part. Intake valves on this engine are the larger of the two by head diameter, around 57 mm against 50 for the exhaust, which is the quickest way to tell an unlabelled pair apart on a bench. That difference exists because incoming air is drawn in on the suction of the piston alone, so it needs the greater flow area of the two.

Supplied new, in the manufacturer’s packaging, with our warranty of up to 24 months.
