About this part

Genuine MAN intake valve for the D2840 LE301, a V10 whose two-valve head gives it large valves. On an intake valve the stem deserves as much attention as the head: it runs in the guide with only the oil the stem seal lets past, and it wears where side load peaks, near the lower end of the guide. A stem measured at one height only can pass a check that it should have failed. Take readings at several points along the running surface.

Supplied new, in the manufacturer’s packaging, with our warranty of up to 24 months.
