About this part
Genuine MAN drawn cup needle roller bearing, HK1816, for the D2866 LE401, D2866 E and D2842 LE443: 18 mm bore, 24 mm outside diameter, 16 mm wide. The HK designation means there is no inner ring — the needles run directly on the shaft, so the shaft itself has to be hardened and ground to bearing quality. A worn shaft cannot be fixed by fitting a new sleeve. The drawn cup is also thin-walled and distorts if pressed in on its open end.
