Genuine MAN armature shaft for the D2866 LE401, D2866 E and D2848 LE422, 290 mm long and 16 mm in diameter at 188 grams. A bare shaft listed separately means the armature can be rebuilt around a new one, which is worth knowing where a shaft has been bent or its journals scored. It also implies the winding and commutator are transferable, and that is specialist work — the shaft on its own is not a repair that can be attempted with hand tools.
