Genuine MAN connector parts kit for terminal 50 on the D2866 LE401, D2866 E and D2842 LE443. Terminal 50 in DIN 72552 is the starter's control input — the thin wire from the key switch that energises the solenoid, carrying a fraction of the current the main cables see. At 20 grams the kit reflects that. A poor connection here produces the same symptom as a flat battery, and in a steel engine room it is also the connection most exposed to salt-laden condensation.
