About this part
A steel circlip, 27 mm with a 1.2 mm section. Stamped circlips have one sharp edge and one slightly rounded one, and the sharp edge faces the load — fitted the other way round the ring lifts out of its groove. Look at the ring before fitting it; the two edges are distinguishable by touch.
