Genuine MAN shim, 1.54 mm, second sub-series. Once a pump has been reassembled and set, it is sealed before it leaves the bench. Refitting it to the engine then involves only the drive coupling and the timing mark, both of which are engine-side adjustments. Do not break the seal to inspect; there is nothing useful to be seen inside.
