Genuine MAN injection pump shim at 1.55 mm, from the parallel sub-series. Black smoke under load with normal timing usually means too much fuel or too little air, not a shimming error. Distinguishing the two before ordering parts saves buying the wrong ones. Air filter restriction and turbocharger condition are the two cheaper checks.
