About this part
One point six millimetres, genuine MAN, third at the thickness. The tappet guide bore in the pump housing wears alongside the tappet itself, and a loose tappet tilts. Neither is correctable with a shim, and both change what the shim needs to be. Both should be measured while the pump is apart rather than assumed serviceable.
