Genuine MAN push rod for the D2866 LE401 and D2866 E, 300 mm long. Push rods are checked by rolling them on a flat surface: any wobble means the rod is bent and it goes in the bin. The more useful question is why, because a bent push rod is almost always a symptom — a valve that stopped moving, an over-speed, or a rocker that seized. Fitting a new rod without finding that cause invites the same failure again.
