Genuine MAN camshaft for the D2842 LE101, LE201 to LE203, LE211 to LE213 and the LXE, LYE build ranges. Access is the expensive part of any camshaft job on a V engine, because the shaft sits in the vee between the banks and reaching it means removing a good deal of what is bolted above it. That changes the economics of everything nearby: followers, bushes, the front seal, gaskets and the timing cover's own fasteners are all trivially cheap compared with a second visit, and none of them get easier to reach later. Plan the job as a front-end overhaul rather than a camshaft replacement, and price it that way from the outset so the scope does not have to expand halfway through.
