About this part

Genuine MAN valve tappet in standard size for the D2866 LE401, D2840 LE301, D2866 E, D2842 LE443 and D2848 LE422. These engines use plain tappets, which slide across the cam lobe instead of rolling along it, and the sliding contact is what sets their service life. Tappet and cam lobe wear as a pair: a new tappet run on a worn lobe fails quickly, so the lobe condition decides whether renewing the tappet is worth doing at all.

Supplied new, in the manufacturer’s packaging, with our warranty of up to 24 months.
