About this part

Genuine MAN exhaust valve for the D2840 LE301. Exhaust valves fail at the margin — the rim of metal between the seating face and the edge of the head — which thins with every regrind until it can no longer hold its shape at temperature. There is a minimum margin thickness below which a valve is scrap, and that limit is why a workshop will condemn a valve which still looks perfectly serviceable. A new valve arrives with its full margin; a reground one off the shelf may not.

Supplied new, in the manufacturer’s packaging, with our warranty of up to 24 months.
