About this part

Genuine MAN inner valve spring for the D2866 LE401, D2840 LE301 and D2866 E. The inner and outer springs of a nested pair are wound in opposite directions, which keeps a broken coil from working its way into the other spring and jamming the valve open. Springs lose free length gradually and without any outward sign, so the check on a strip is to measure free length against the figure in the manual rather than to look for damage.

Supplied new, in the manufacturer’s packaging, with our warranty of up to 24 months.
