Genuine MAN solenoid switch for the D2866 LE401, D2866 E, D2842 LE443 and D2848 LE422, 999 grams, now supplied as the heat-resistant 51.26212-0004. The contacts inside a solenoid are a serviceable item on many starters, and a unit that has failed at the contacts can often be repaired rather than replaced.
