Genuine MAN raw water pump covering the D2866, D2876, D2848, D2840 and D2676 families. A pump number spanning this many engines is worth knowing about for stock reasons, and it reflects the fact that raw water flow requirement scales with heat rejection rather than with cylinder count. What does not carry across between installations is the drive arrangement and the plumbing, so a pump correct by part number still needs its pulley, mounting and hose connections to match the engine it is going onto. Check those before ordering rather than discovering a difference with the old pump already off and the boat committed. A photograph of the old pump in place, taken before it comes off, answers most of those questions later.
