About the MAN E2876 series
Built on the 128 × 166 mm, 12.8-litre dimensions of the D2876, the E2876 is MAN's six-cylinder spark-ignition gas engine for power generation on natural gas or special gas. MAN's brochure gives 130 to 220 kW across the range; the stoichiometric E312 makes 150 kW and the lean-burn TE302 130 kW on special gas, both at 1,500 rpm.
We have two lists for it, and the turbocharger is the line between them. The E302, E312 and E322 have none, as MAN's brochure describes for the E versions, and carry a water-cooled exhaust elbow. The TE302 list adds turbochargers, intercooler elbows and coolant pipes. Ignition system assemblies, spark plugs and most of the base engine are common to both, so the turbocharger is the first thing to check on the engine before ordering.
